I can smile now..

It's quite a busy week for me.. but I am able to smile now as we have completed the opening of KM in Labuan. We managed to find time to go for swimming while in there. Well just to unwind ourselves and it was only for about 45 minutes..

It's a bit late to write about the French Open but I am absolutely happy for Ana that finally she won her 1st grand slam. Her game has tremendously improved. She played very well during the final match and she did not show any signs of nervous..good for her that she has able to overcome her nervousness. Congrats Ana!

Result Fever

I was so nervous when Mimi called me yesterday that result was already available online. I was damn worried about 1 subject (well known as a killer subject). I grabbed my notebook straight when I reached home at 11.00 p.m. I breathed a sigh of relief when I saw the result! I got through and surprisingly I scored very well in my other subjects. Actually, that was the first time I sat for an exam with below 40% of confidence that I could do the paper. I will never do it again! Luckily I got through even though it was only cukup makan or atas pagar. Frankly, I do not believe in any belief of killer subject or what so ever. To me nothing is hard or difficult, it just a matter of whether we want to learn seriously and put effort on it. In this case, I only have myself to blame... I didn't do enough. Honestly, I was not really focus and the concentration too has declined. It's tough when you have to do it part time and have to juggle between work, studies, personal things, etc. But hey.. no excuses. I did not do enough! I have to do better next sem!

Actually, I was in Labuan yesterday for opening a new KM. It was my 1st opening as we have our opening team before. It was a new thing and experience. It looks so easy to see but actually it involves a lot of tedious work. All sort of petty things! Well at least I know now the headache that any 'taukeh' has to go through when opening up a store. Poor him, he started the business when everything has gone up. Wishing him all the best. We'll be back there next week.

There's a lot more to write but need to go now - French Open Ladies Final coming up. :)

Fuel price madness

I reached home almost midnight last night due to bad/terrible traffic jam leading to my place. Everybody was caught by surprise when Govt announced the hike in fuel price. People rushed like mad to petrol stations. It caused the worst traffic jam and chaotic to almost every roads, highways from as early as 04.00p.m. Crazy!

I’ve never expected it to be that bad. I thought I would be able to refill my car on the way home. Yeah , it’s something that inevitable but I think the Govt should expect the implication when the increase is so high almost 80 cent for petrol.. gosh! It caused panic buying among motorist and pity those station operators too, have to deal with the extra ordinary situation!

We can expect everything will go up now. The price of food, services, goods and so on.. I pray that the inflation is within control and lets hope that the Govt able to control it too.. It worries me, really! Just pray for the best for our country.. We are not ready for any economic turmoil/tsunami..
